I’m so excited to start this blog! I am so passionate about women and their ability to look in the mirror and feel amazing regardless of their age, dress size, race or sexual orientation, we all deserve that happy, fuzzy feeling.
So where do I start and why am I starting at all?
Let’s address the first part of that sentence: I am actually going to start at the end, where I am now, living in a lovely garden apartment in a beautiful German city….alone, asking myself ‘how the bloody hell…’ I will talk about my story more as this blog goes on but needless to say there was a man involved and a narcissistic man at that. He used all the cunning of a man of that persuasion and when I wasn’t playing ball and kneeling at his rather large sociopathic feet he tossed me aside and brought in a new model. That wouldn’t have been too bad to be honest, I wasn’t happy about the way he treated me, however like many women before me I made excuses for him ‘it was just teething problems’ ‘living in another country takes time to adjust’….That was the big problem, he had moved me to Germany to live with him, and yes this is how I felt like an object he could move at will. I was something he wanted/desired and he made sure he got it right beside him in Germany. So here I am in a lovely garden apartment in a beautiful German city…alone asking myself what the bloody hell…
So second part, why am I starting this blog? Because this is not sad story of a woman scorned, this is the story of the Pheonix rising from the fire! The ability of a woman to always look at the positive, always see the end of something as the chance to a have a new beginning, to look forward and smile at the world and shine! Easy right? Absolutely not! I will talk you through how I am navigating this separation with positivity, looking forward to what the future brings. I will also touch on my previous divorce which was even worse and blog by blog I hope I can inspire you and motivate you to take your life into your own hands and be the you, you want to be! I am not some guru or some flashy life coach I am a woman who’s lived it and not just survived but flourished. I literally have been there done that and now have the blog! For everyone who comes with me on this journey it is time for you all to shine!
I will cover a vast array of topics including: turning negative situations into positives, learning how to love yourself, living alone, losing weight, makeup and fashion tips and even dating over 40 – by special request! I would also love to hear from you as I hope to inspire other women to come forward and celebrate how amazing they are!
I am here and happy to put my story out there so you know you are not alone. In addition, I know there is an army of other amazing warrior women out there with stories to tell who will inspire us all….
